Regenerative Skin Treatment · Hitchin
NeoGen
Plasma
Nitrogen plasma technology that helps your skin renew its own collagen. A regenerative treatment for crepey, thinning skin, fine lines and uneven tone, especially as skin changes through perimenopause and menopause.
Fox Collective is listed on the official NeoGen clinic finder.
Renewal, from within.
NeoGen converts nitrogen gas into plasma energy, delivered to the skin as precise, controlled heat. There are no lasers, light or needles. That heat triggers your skin’s natural repair response, prompting fibroblasts (your collagen-building cells) to produce fresh collagen and elastin and gradually remodel tired tissue.
Unlike many resurfacing treatments, the treated outer layer stays in place as a natural protective dressing while new skin forms beneath it, then gently flakes away. Results build over the following months as new collagen matures, so they look like you, just well rested.

Why NeoGen suits menopausal skin
As oestrogen falls through perimenopause and menopause, collagen production slows sharply. Research suggests skin may lose around 30% of its collagen in the first five years after menopause, which is why it can feel thinner, drier and less firm almost overnight.
NeoGen works with your skin’s own repair process to encourage new collagen where it’s needed most, including delicate areas such as the eyes, neck, chest and hands, which are often the first to show change. Read more about why skin changes in your 40s.

Your NeoGen journey
- Consultation. We assess your skin, medical history and goals, and agree the right treatment intensity for you.
- Treatment day. A numbing cream is applied for comfort, then the skin is treated with quick pulses of warmth.
- The first week. Treated skin darkens and gradually flakes away to reveal fresh skin. Recovery depends on intensity, from a few days for lighter treatments to around a week or more for deeper sessions.
- The following months. New collagen continues to develop, with gradual improvements in texture, tone and firmness.

Your questions answered
It depends on your skin and the intensity used. Some patients see good results from a single session; others benefit from a short course. We'll recommend a plan at your consultation.
Skin usually looks brighter and smoother once the treated layer has shed. Improvements in texture, firmness and fine lines continue to develop over the following months as new collagen forms.
Yes, some. Expect redness and warmth at first, then a few days of darkening and flaking as the skin renews. Lighter treatments may need only a few days; deeper treatments around a week or more. Avoid booking just before an important event.
NeoGen isn't advised during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with active skin infections or cold sores, after recent tanning, or with some medications that affect healing. We check suitability carefully at your consultation.
